Renovations, Road Trip, & Holiday Schedule
There's been a lot going on at the academy lately. Below is a small sampling, in chronological order, of the latest news.
Renovations
Our wall mats arrived this past Friday, and it was absolutely worth the wait! We hope to have them all mounted by the end of this week. Thank you, Steven Alvarez, for your help installing the first nine. We couldn't have done it without you.
In other renovation-related news, we now have a display case for our retail merchandise. It is already a bit crowded, but we will be reorganizing our purchasable items and moving some of the extra inventory elsewhere in the near future.
With respect to painting, the front of the academy is complete, as are both bathrooms. The medals and posters are back on the wall, and painting of the back half of the room will start soon. Things are definitely coming along nicely so far.
NY Road Trip
This past Sunday, we took a road trip to Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu NY to drop in on a class. We had a great time and learned a lot of helpful tips and tricks. Thank you, Michael Casey, for letting us stop by. We hope to return in the near future.
Holiday Schedule
Last, our holiday schedule is as follows:
- Monday, December 25th: CLOSED
- Monday, January 1st: Evening classes (6:00pm - 8:00 pm) ONLY. Conditioning class is cancelled, and noon class is cancelled.
