Americana from Side Control
Start in a good side control position with - in this case - your left elbow on the floor against your opponent’s neck.
Extend your right leg back and transition some of your weight onto your right hip so you remain heavy even while slightly lifting your chest.
Place your left hand on his left arm, and push it to the floor.
Secure his arm with a thumb-less grip, and then slide your right hand and forearm underneath his upper arm (the same one you are targeting).
Secure your own left wrist with your right hand, using a thumb-less grip. Keep your head low.
Without lifting his hand off the floor - and without purposely lifting his elbow - use your hands to slide his hand, wrist, and forearm toward his feet.
