Ezekiel (Sleeve) Choke
Start in a good front mount position.
Get both of your hands on the mat, above your opponent’s head. This is a great choke to go for when your opponent bumps you, causing you to fall forward (as shown in the picture).
Keeping your hand and forearm on the ground, start sliding your dominant arm toward the top of his head.
Continue sliding your dominant arm toward him until it is underneath his neck.
Bring your fingers and thumb toward each other, causing your palm and wrist - as well as his head - to lift off the ground. The tips of your thumb and all four fingers should be touching the mat.
Reach the fingers of your dominant hand inside the sleeve of your non-dominant arm. For the no-gi version, simply grab the bicep of your non-dominant arm.
Note: This is one of the few times that you will ever reach INSIDE the sleeve of the gi.
Keeping the grip on the sleeve - or bicep for no-gi - make a fist with your non-dominant hand, and slide it across his neck, like a typewriter. Then straighten your arms to finish the choke.
Note: The beginning of the “sliding across” process is shown in the picture. Aim to get your non-dominant fist all the way to the other side of his neck.
