Leaning Choke from Front Mount

Start in a good front mount position.

Reach the fingers of your dominant hand into his same-side lapel. Don’t grab too deep, else you won’t be able to accomplish the next steps.

Make a fist with your dominant hand, trapping his lapel material. Then reach the thumb of your non-dominant hand into his same side lapel. Again, don’t reach too deep.

Use your dominant hand to bring his lapel material up and across his neck, so that your pinkie finger is against the side of his neck.

With your non-dominant hand, lift his other lapel over your dominant hand. This assures that he cannot defend the choke by pushing your dominant hand back across his neck.

Pull with your non-dominant hand and push with your dominant hand to finish the choke.
